Kitchen This fashion forward kitchen in the cosmopolitan neighborhood of DuPont Circle incorporates two door styles and finishes. This carefully considered combination includes a stepped slim shaker door style on the wall cabinets and refrigerator panels with a reeded center panel slim shaker door style on the freezer drawers and base cabinets. All the inset cabinetry has a square bead detail on the framing and the center rails were removed on the drawer bases for a more modern look. The white painted finish is complemented by a mid-tone stain on quarter sawn white oak on the island and dry bar cabinetry. The gray blue Ilve range is a focal point which complements the cabinetry colors and adds an Olde World European flair. Aged brass fluted cabinet hardware, floating shelves, detailed milk glass pendants, marble countertops including a waterfall on the island, apron front sink and an unlacquered brass and black enamel bridge faucet make this kitchen both elegant and transitional. A flush inset microwave drawer and paneled wine captain integrate with the cabinetry for a sleek look.
