Kitchen This large kitchen was meant for entertaining and hosting a crowd. The island offers seating for 6 while the corner dining area with builtin channeled olive velvet banquette seats another 6 comfortably. A Gaggenau combination 48” cooktop with integrated knobs into the marble apron panel as well as a marble apron front sink detail at the main window create a modern focal point. The kitchen design features three flush inset Wolf ovens, 66” of industrial style refrigeration, two paneled dishwashers, two full sized sinks, a paneled ice maker and a builtin coffee maker. Amble countertop space in black and white marble tie together the wire brushed black stained hickory base cabinetry and the off white painted beaded inset wall and tall cabinetry with exposed ball finial soft close hinges. Glass fronted wall cabinetry with a contrasting walnut veneer interiors add natural warmth and soften the contrast. The custom plastered mantle hood mixes a soft curved opening with hidden niches and accent lighting in the sides complete with natural walnut shelves. The custom island design features a corner open bookshelf, brass footed corner posts and drawers with mesh fronts and walnut interiors to allow onions and other produce to breathe while being mostly concealed. Contemporary lighting, rustic white oak flooring, mixed finish plumbing, transitional brass cabinet hardware and natural walnut accents on the opening jams and pocket door complete the space.
Back Pantry & Laundry This unique space with a U-shaped layout behind the main kitchen offers additional storage, counterspace, work space, display, refrigeration and a large laundry area. The inset cabinetry repeats two of the kitchen finishes which opting for a different cabinetry style to set it apart. Checkerboard flooring adds pattern and texture. The modern brass galley rail hardware accents the streamlined slim shaker cabinetry with horizontal grain walnut and matte black hardware and lighting. Two sets of washer and dryers paired with hanging racks, a long countertop for folding and large sink and window make this a place you wouldn’t mind hanging out in to do laundry. The pantry area opens up to the kitchen thru a sliding pass thru door in the backsplash space which make it ideal for use as a catering kitchen for large events. The flex space near the laundry features a darker hickory cabinetry tone with a wall and base cabinetry that supports the client’s pet storage needs and a tall broom closet for cleaning products.
Mudroom This deep eggplant colored inset mudroom cabinetry showcases the client’s love of moody drama with natural materials. The square beaded inset detailing paired with the square step detail on the cabinetry doors adds a modern touch without looking plain. The natural walnut veener bench and door jam is paired with a slim brass seam accent and complimented with knurled brass cabinet hardware. The patterned tile floor adds whimsey and all the closed cabinetry adds storage and function for this large home.
Dining Room Bar This bar is made for entertaining and supporting the large dining area in the front of the home. Generous shelving in walnut veneer with LED lighting accent the couple’s collection of fine wines and sprits. Antique brass exposed ball finial soft close barrel hinges on the cabinetry as well as mesh inserts in the large doors add a vintage feel and sophistication. The beaded inset off white painted cabinetry is paired with antique mirror and soapstone counters with an ogee edge for a classic look that ties in with the room’s black metal window jams and dining furniture.
Library This custom built in mixes a deep green painted finish, walnut veneer, antique brass mesh and cabinet pulls with a marble countertop. The custom library ladder also in walnut encourages exploration and makes the tall shelving more functional.
Living Room Built-In This custom built-in mixes stained wire brushed hickory, walnut veneer shelving accents and a white marble countertop carrying the kitchen finishes into adjacent spaces for cohesion. The unlacquered brass library light adds a warm accent.
Primary Bedroom Built-In This custom builtin uses contrast and texture to add interest and storage to a small nook. Wire brushed stained hickory cabinetry is complemented with white marble and unlacquered brass hardware and lighting.
Primary Bath This modern bath combines flush inset wall cabinets with frameless base cabinets in natural walnut grain matched veneer. The black cabinet hardware coordinates with the tile flooring, windows sauna and closet cabinetry.
